Charity Welcomes Glen Espie BEM to Brownlow Courtyard

ASAADMIN • January 30, 2026

The Ancre Somme Association Charity recently had the distinct privilege of hosting an event at its headquarters in Brownlow Courtyard, featuring Mr. Glen Espie BEM as the esteemed guest speaker.

His account last night in Lurgan, detailing his survival against significant adversity when targeted by Republican terrorists, was incredibly impactful.

Lexi Davidson, Community Development Officer at ASA Charity, expresses her sincere appreciation to Glen for his presentation, his dedicated service, and his willingness to share his personal story and the experiences of the courageous men and women who served in the Ulster Defence Regiment CGC.

The charity would like to thank Glen and all those who attended the event. Our next event will take place on the 5th March 2026. Full details will be available from the charity's website and social media channels.
